Spacious large group villa in Massa Lubrense, with a private pool, heavenly sea views and steps down to the sparkling sea
Is it possible to holiday on the Amalfi Coast without the crowds? The answer is a definite yes at Villa Terri, set on the road between Massa Lubrense and the beach at the pretty fishing village of Marina della Lobra. You’ll find bars and restaurants in both places, and only 5km separating the villa and Sorrento, but if you enjoy pocket-sized beaches and hilltop hamlets connected by ancient mule tracks, this is the place for you.
Access the villa (400m²), through an electric gate followed by a steeply descending 300m private lane. Spend your days lounging on sofas and sun beds around the pool (5.50 x 6.50 square meters and from 1.20 to 2.20 meters deep, open from April to the end of October), admiring the extraordinary views across the Gulf of Naples and Capri, or wander down to the beach along a private path (100 steps) and on to a waterfront footpath.
The ground floor features an expansive open-plan living space with huge panoramic windows overlooking the terrace. Furniture includes a sofa, single sofa bed and armchairs in the lounge area, and a dining table and chairs for 12. There’s ample space for everyone, including a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate laundry room and guest bathroom (bathroom 1) with sink, toilet and bidet.

We had absolutely the best time here in Massa Lubrense. It was the best weekend many of us have ever experienced and being right outside of sorrento in a quiet town was really nice. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the marina where our boat tousee more
We had absolutely the best time here in Massa Lubrense. It was the best weekend many of us have ever experienced and being right outside of sorrento in a quiet town was really nice. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the marina where our boat tour left from. Alfonso was also incredibly responsive and helpful with organizing check in and rides to sorrento. It is in an amazing location right on the water where swimming is available. It is a steep walk/drive down the hill however so best for able bodied people!

The walk down from the road to the Villa is quite steep, recommend to book the luggage service. The Villa was very helpful with transfers and we found this was the most affordable option for exploring the coast. Our agent was also very helpful with activities and advice prior to arrival. Be sure to bring plenty of toilet paper for larger groups and cash for deposit and cleaning fee, which they requested up front. Thanks for a great, memorable stay!

The walkway was long and steep, but that's how most of the properties are in this area. The Villa was very beautiful with a stunning view of the sea and walking distance to 2 restaurants. I wish some of the trees were trimmed a bit so the view would see more

I wish some of the trees were trimmed a bit so the view would have been more spectacular, and I thought the 350.00 Euro cleaning deposit was a bit high since we were only there for a few nights.
Overall, however, I would recommend this place to others - definitely! |
