Casa La Maisonette is a comfortable four-person house right in the heart of Sorrento. It has been stylishly decorated with every possible mod-con included.
Casa La Maisonette has one of the best locations of any rental property in Sorrento. It is in Piazza Tasso, so just a short walk from Corso Italia. It means that guests are only a few metres from the famous ice cream parlours, restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs that Sorrento does so well. There are also many supermarkets for those that are looking to self-cater. Just two minutes’ walk away is the Circumvesuviana train station with services to Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Naples, and the SITA bus station where you can take the bus to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Less than 500 metres away, you’ll find the Marina Piccola harbour where you can take the hydrofoil to Capri, Ischia and Procida.
Based in an antique building on the first level, Casa La Maisonette is spread out over two floors. Aside from house convenient location, the antique building with concierge service 8 hours a day itself is full of charm and will guarantee a memorable stay every time. While this does mean that you’ll have to climb around 30 steps to reach the house, it also means that the apartment has plenty of personality. In the living room, which is open plan with the kitchen, you’ll find a modern finish. It has two single sofa beds, a coffee table, a TV, a dining table for four people and the kitchen area. The kitchen contains two induction hobs, a fridge with freezer, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a moka coffee pot and other small appliances. The balcony on the upper floor is furnished with two deck chairs.

UPPER FLOOR:
•Bedroom 1 contains a double bed and a TV and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. You get to the bedroom from the ground floor by going up 13 steps.
•Bathroom 2 contains a sink, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. It can be reached from the terrace outside the bedroom.
Casa La Maisonette is very comfortable and a true home from home. That’s also helped by the inclusion of the following amenities:
•Wi-Fi throughout.
•Air conditioning and heating included.
•Travel babby cot available as well as a highchair if required.
•Bed linen and towels included.
•Certified disinfection.
•Cooking classes can be arranged along with a chef in the house.
•It is possible to arrange both group and private tours to learn about the surrounding area if requested.
Not included in the price, to be paid on site:
•Final cleaning 65,00 euros
•Late arrival fee after 8:00 PM 50,00 euros

The only thing I would caution is the 65 euro cleaning fee that’s paid in person - it is in the description but we missed it a first. So when you book this place, keep this in mind for your budget.

The apartment is located in the heart of Sorrento, a few steps off Piazza Tasso. It’s a few minutes walk tofrom the train station. A grocery store is but a blocktwo away and of course there are hundreds of restaurants and bars, with some of the best being down the smallest streets and alleys. This apartment puts you in the best possible place to enjoy Sorrento, including the nightlife and entertainment on Piazza Tasso. On the practical side, the balcony is a 9 (or so) sq. mt., glassed in, shared space, no view so if that’s important to your stay…… The apartment itself is completely modern in it’s conveniences and amenities with air conditioning, a full-size shower, comfortable bed and wonderful living room sectional. Though the kitchen is small it’s perfectly suited for making moka pot coffee and heating-up (microwave) pastries and perhaps leftovers from dinner. There is no conventional oven for baking, etc. But, truthfully, you’re not in Sorrento to be cooking, surrounded by so much wonderfully prepared and served Italian food. If you’re staying for several days,have been on the road awhile as we had, there’s a laundromat with clean, modern washers and dryers just a few blocks away. Finally, the management company is responsive and even sets up a WhatsApp group for your stay. When you check in ensure that they show you where the extra blankets and pillows are and, where, exactly, you’re to take the trash and recycling.
