Set just a hop from its iconic neighbours Positano and Sorrento, the smaller Amalfi Coast town of Praiano attracts fewer tourists, providing an excellent opportunity to experience the Amalfi Coast at its best. The views, however, are as dramatic as anywhere along the coast and the standout feature at Casa Marì is its incredibly peaceful location amidst olive groves and the lush green hills.

Accessed via two sets of steps leading from the road, Casa Marì is situated just 100m from the nearest bus stop and within easy reach of the beach and local supermarket. The crowning glory of the 150m² property is its striking snow-white terrace (60m²). Gaze out from your sunbed over the deep blue sea beyond, or enjoy al fresco meals in this serene environment in the shade of the vine-covered pergola.

The newly refurbished villa is simply furnished, with stark white walls that contrast with the blue of the sea visible through French windows, and a brand-new kitchen and bathrooms. The main living space comprises a dining table and a double sofa bed with an archway to the kitchen. There is direct access to the terrace from the kitchen.

• The villa is accessed via two flights of steps – around 150 steps in total – that lead from the road. Its setting, amongst olive groves and the quiet of the hillside, ensures a wonderful sense of stillness.
• For walkers, the area around the villa provides easy access to the magnificent Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods), which leads from Praiano to Nocelle above Positano.
